As a physician, Dr. Scarbrough has more than 30 years’ experience of caring for the elderly; including medical and mental illness, having been responsible for the medical care of thousands of both hospital and nursing home patients. On July 1, 1997, he became the full time Medical Director of Community Health Systems and its affiliates.

President & CEO, CHS, SAGE Management, Inc.
Mr. Warren has served as the President & CEO of SAGE Management, CHS Properties, and the real estate arm for the 200 acre single family home development, LiveOak Village. In 2010 the CHS Board of Directors elevated Mr. Warren to the position of President & CEO for Community Health Systems, Inc., and its subsidiaries and affiliates.

Nick joined Community Health Systems and SAGE in September 2010. He has been developing and selling condominiums, residential subdivisions and commercial developments for over 20 years. He brings innovative marketing, sales, acquisitions and mergers and development experience to the corporation, as well as an in-depth understanding of the legalities of the landlord/tenant relationship and real estate transaction law.

Kim Neal, MBA

Director of Corporate Operations
Kim has over 25 years of extensive experience in operations, strategic planning, marketing, communications, business development, public relations, and executive leadership in healthcare, serving in senior living, hospitals, and physician clinic networks.

Kim earned her master’s degree in business administration from LSU Shreveport and her undergraduate degree in interdisciplinary studies from the University of South Alabama. Kim also holds a Level II Assisted Living Administrator License and Broker’s Real Estate License in the state of Alabama.

Kim has been honored as a Baldwin County Mover and Shaker by Business Alabama magazine, received the Community Senior Life President’s Award, and currently serves on the board of directors for the Assisted Living Association of Alabama.

Director of Compliance
Ms. Kelley began her nursing career in 2005. She is an experienced SCALF RN, Unit Coordinator having served in this capacity for over 5 years and achieving a deficiency free state survey. She has been the recipient of several recognition awards, including Employee of the Quarter and Employee of the Month on more than one occasion. Ms. Kelley has 12 years of experience in geriatric and dementia care and has been awarded a Category II Administrator’s license, scoring the only perfect 100 in her class.
Jill Benefield, LPN, ALA

Education Specialist
Jill Benefield has worked in Long Term Care for 29 years. She began her career working as a CNA in Long Term Care Facilities and graduated as an LPN in 1998. In 1999, she changed her career to Assisted Living where she worked as a Health Services Coordinator until she received her Administrators License. Jill was the Administrator of the Madison Village Retirement Community in Madison, AL for over 12 years. During her tenue at Madsion Village, she received zero deficiencies during facility surveys by the ADPH. Ms. Benefield recently changed positions within the company to Education Specialist with SAGE Management.

Ms. Benefield was appointed by the Governor of Alabama to the Board of Examiners of Assisted Living Administrators and serves as the chairman. Ms. Benefield has held an LPN nursing license in the State of Alabama since 1998 and her Alabama Assisted Living Administrator License since 2000.

Jill resides in Madison, AL and has a husband Donnie, and two children Lily Kate and Collin.
